I grew up listening to a lot 60s and 70s pop/rock/r&b music. During the 80s I got into guitar and played in heavy metal bands. After high school I studied classical guitar at FSU and started a reggae band. Over the years I have played in bluegrass, classic rock and blues bands. I have recently been interested in adding some jazzier elements to my playing though I am by no means a "jazzer". I like playing with musicians who are chill and truly enjoy making music. I prefer bands that have a great groove, highlight the vocals and are able to get the audience to move in some way. I don't need to be in the spotlight I just want to be a part of making really good music that draws people in.
