We are blues-rock band seeking a singer.
We are experienced musicians who have been playing together for years. We recently retooled our repertoire and lineup to move into the private party circuit and away from bars.
We are currently four guys – guitar, bass, drums, and a fourth member who plays guitar, keyboard and sings lead. Our preference is to find a female singer -- though we are open to a second male vocalist as well.
We are in our 40s, have jobs and families, so this is a part-time venture. We practice once a week and gig once or twice per month.
Songlist covers the last 50 years – starting with Beatles and Motown; jam bands like the Dead and Allmans; through the 70s and 80s with Doobies, Petty, Springsteen, Steely Dan, Stones, Costello, Crowes, and more contemporary bands like Sublime, Soul Asylum, etc. We also cover a wide variety of female artists including Bareilles, Chapman, Crow, Morrisette, Raitt, Tedeschi, KT Tunstall, etc.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to step into an established band. Supportive, collaborative environment. Low pressure. No egos. Lots of fun. And some extra cash too.
