SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist - Tenor, Vocalist - Soprano, Acoustic Guitar, Other Percussion, Piano.ABOUT
62 year old female. Have a vocal group on “Smule”. Have been playing the guitar intermittently since 7th grade. Getting ready to start lessons again, because I took a long break after being widowed in 2003. My husband & I used to play together & it was too painful.
Pleasant singing voice & wide selection of musicality. Can barely play the mandolin (gift received at a bad time). Rusty piano player.
I have my own instruments, including an electric Yamaha 88 key with Grand Piano voice.

Influences
Raised singing in Church. I'm an alto. I have no professional experience, but I put out covers in my online karaoke group; usually practice every day. I am open to any genre of music and would love to join a band in need of a singer or background singer. Also wrote & performed my own compositions on accoustic/electric guitar. Have a gift for remembering song lyrics-but not the accompanying music. I’m rusty on all the instruments (had a brain tumor) but have kept up with vocals: including harmony.
Love The Eagles, James Taylor, Carly Simon, Mamas & the Papas & similar bands. Also fan of Sting, Pearl Jam, Imagine Dragons Jackson Browne, Seals & Croft, Allison Krauss, Lyle Lovett, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs & similar music. Would welcome a chance to try pretty much anything.
