ABOUT

Looking for pretty much any gig: one-time, studio, band, or even jam session--I have tons of free time, and love to make all kinds of music.
I specialize in Funk, Groove, Soul, R&B, Jazz, Rock, & Blues.

I have extensive education in music theory, and a fundamental understanding of music to pretty much pick stuff up quick or even on the fly. In fact, I wish to emphasize that as my strength: a natural musician, I've always had the ear for tone, & never met a tune I couldn't flow with . I sing lead/or harmony, play piano & guitar, but I really feel I've now found my "voice" in the bass guitar. I went pro as a vocalist-- both as a Gondolier here in Mission Bay, and as a Christmas caroler in 1997 at age 18, and haven't missed a year yet.

I can be as serious as you are--I only need something to pour my music into.

Everything!... but mostly Jazz (any type: classic, lounge, or noodlin') Classic Rock, Funk, Soul, & Blues. Or, to put it in artists (respectively):
Jazz: Slim Gaillard, Ella Fitzgerald, Yuji Ohno Trio.
Rock: Deep Purple, 10 Years After, the fab 4.
Funk: ANYTHING with the Swampers backing = funk, Isley Bros., & Dr. John.
Soul: Bill Withers, Rev. Green, The Godfather.
Blues: B.B., Clapton, Etta James
