Murphee Doyle

Bass Guitar, Violin, Saxophone, Keyboard, Piano, Fiddle.

Murphee Doyle is a recording project, turned live act with a classic rock-influenced foundation, fused with several elements of hard rock, funk, and whatever else comes of a live jam. The group is a standard rock package of guitars, bass and drums, with added flavor from any other instrument that comes along. Whether in the studio or in a live setting, the band has added keys/piano, fiddle, cello, banjo and additional vocals to create unique musical texture. The work takes place in some of the best recording studios in the country, from Nashville to the Pocono Mountains to Detroit and that rendition is transferred to some of the finest venues in the Philadelphia/Delaware region. At the end of the day, it's all about making great music and having a great time doing so. The group has a nice foundation, so we are looking for some interesting folks to fill in, particularly in the string and keys areas.

A little more about us...This band is a lot of fun - there are really no rules and it's about the music and enjoying each other. But, please note: We are a hardcore drug-free band. Drinking is okay, as long as it isn't in excess - work first, play later. The band has consisted of people with a lot of experience, a lot of stage time and even road/touring experience. We've got some crazy-ass stories and have lived pretty well. But...We're confident enough in ourselves that we don't really need to prove "what we've done." So, we conduct ourselves in a professional manner. Any egos, rockstars or primadonnas will be weeded out, quickly. That type of sh*t ruins the fun and keeps you from being invited back to the venue. Just be yourself and people will see your potential and talents. Cheers!!
