so ive been making music for years. Im classically trained. i have amassed tons of material to work on.
All instruments written for and sequenced or recorded by myself. Attached are a small sampling which can give some indication of the style(s) that i like to explore and the sound i am trying to get to.
(All vocal melodies are played by instruments)
I am looking for someone who is NOT the following:
1. really hoping that playing open mics, gigging, working really hard is going to land them a record deal
2. thinks music is some mysterious thing that magically happens sometimes(although this is partially true)
3. a dumb musician, meaning you have to be an overall intelligent human being, not just a "really good bass player"
4. musically closed minded.
5. sensitive or bashful. Only with a highly critical mind and ear can anything really good be made.

- i try to experiment with all types of music for a blend that can ultimately be called pop music but is still somewhat sophisticated. I am not saying anything of the attached has reached that goal.
If it had, i wouldnt be looking for help.
But i have a huge collection of unfinished songs, song parts, ideas that i believe can.
I need someone preferably with their own catalogue of unfinished musical ideas, who wants to work hard at getting at a fresh original sophisticated sound and eventually put a band together.

Someone who really wants to make good music (since there is so little of it left)
