All women's band looking for an accomplished electric guitar player to play both rhythm and lead. Must be able to sing. Be a team player, not a diva. This band is a team. We share vocals and solos and are looking for the best overall sound. We try very hard not to damage our ears when we play. We would prefer a lesbian or a woman, but will consider the right man. No homophobes, of course.
Backup singers - there is room in this band for one or two backup singers. If you can also sing great lead, you will get to. We like to share. Think Gladys Knight's Pips or backup vocals on Aretha's Chain of Fools.
We rehearse in Berkeley or Sausalito. The day is not set.
