A bit about us...
We are currently a 3 piece group focusing on Top 40 pop/dance songs with a
few 80's/90'/00's dance tunes mixed in. We currently have a drummer,
guitarist and female vocalist. We utilize backing tracks and have our set
lists completed. We are currently looking to plug someone in to fill the
spot of 2nd vocalist/Bass Player.
The requirements we are looking for include:
- Ability to perform lead and co-lead vocal duties 10-20% of the time
- Musical ability to serve the song and not overplay
- Understands that this project utilizes backing tracks 100% of time
- Willingness to learn and play current set list (will have equal vote in
future song choices)
- Professional stage presence and reliable gear
- Practice 1x per week as full band. Learn song material on own time
Our goal is to perform more modern music/showband type of situation for
clubs, festivals and corporate events. This is intended to be a
money-making venture. We are not interested in playing the non-paying bar
circuit. However, we do realize we will need to do some reduced pay gigs
early on to perfect our sets and build a following. We have booking
contacts that will help us once we are ready, which should be early Spring.
We have all done this before and have made good money doing it. That said,
we all have families and jobs. So, our ultimate goal is to play 2x per
month (3 in high season possible).
