I've been playing bass for several years and recently started singing in a band, we are more of a recording project than a live band at the moment. Our tastes are quite eclectic but the style of our music tends to gravitate towards dark electronic sounds with heavy rhythms and lots of syncopation and odd time signatures. There are usually real instruments involved too, guitars, bass and sometimes analog synths and acoustic drums in addition to virtual instruments.

I'd like to find musicians to collaborate with on vocals and lyrics, as well as other instrumental parts. I'm an alright singer but there's always room for improvement and it would be nice to find someone who can meet up once or twice a week to practice singing and writing new material. I work from home usually and have quite a bit of flexibility when it comes to my schedule.

I suck at keys but find them an excellent writing tool, so it would be great if you have any piano or keyboard competencies as well. Although I only sing melodically, I'd like to learn to scream and growl, and rap, everything really...

We plan to play live shows some day, but for the moment our focus is on writing an album and finishing a recording studio that we're building in my house.

I studied sound recording in uni and have plenty of recording gear for this project.
