ABOUT

Hello my friends!

My name is Ian Myrick, and I am a multi-instrumentalist and teacher from upstate SC!

I began playing drums at the age of 9, something I quickly developed a passion for and have continued to excel at for the past 11 years. Rising above many of my peers, I earned first chair in percussion for my school band all 4 years, and in doing so realized I wanted to learn something new, deciding to begin learning guitar and bass. In the time since then, I have polished my abilities, songwriting, and knowledge, and have begun teaching for the past 3 years, tailoring each and every lesson to each student's preferences and abilities. I love what I do, and I want you all to love it too!

In my personal music, I have toured the East coast somewhat extensively, recorded a full album and EP, and have even been privileged enough to receive an endorsement from Saluda Cymbals!

UPDATE: Online classes and new payment methods are now accepted!
