Hey! I'm Nina. I am a vocalist, studying music therapy at Montclair State University. I am classically trained and have sung in choirs and theater my whole life, but my heart has always been in folk, indie, jazz, and singer-songwriter genres. I love connecting to people with music and using it as a healing tool. I also love songwriting and performing.
I would love to start gigging regularly and put myself in situations where I could grow and learn as a musician. I have lots of experience being in singing ensembles, and I was in worship bands in church throughout high school.
I can play guitar and keys well enough to accompany myself. I also know a decent amount of theory, which helps.
I bring emotion and vulnerability to every song I sing. I love to tell stories -- lyrics and poetry are very important to me.
