contact me at nancyidahopics. I have had many years playing in 4-5 piece bands, since about 1985. Before that in school I developed great harmonies. I play bass guitar, fair rhythm. some keys/synth but can hold my own as a stand up lead singer only. Strong, confident, consistent and LOVE to interact with people. Never worry about being emcee or dealing with folk in any condition. Can do harmonies from low range -- can sing some of what tenor hubby does -- as well as going on up to high soprano. Miss being on stage! You may sample music on be: Nancy Hopper, William Hopper (Mr. Babinga), Don Valentine of New York and Jim Miller of Yakima Washington. I will play 'just for fun' but am also interested in paying gigs if that is the group's desire.

First were the Beatles, Stones, '60's and '70's rock. A bit of folk thrown in. Then Chicago, Journey etc. In the '80's I went to country because it was where the work was, and really ended up loving it. Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt, The Judds/Wynonna later, Patty Loveless. I later got into Christian music a lot for a while and sang a lot of Vineyard music. I've most recently gone back to '60's rock. I also write & record with hubby who is a fabulous musician. I can do Joe Walsh and I can do Led Zeppelin and I can do Tanya Tucker. I am very serious about delivering a song effectively and I work hard (on my own) to get it right and be ready before rehearsal.

I have electric bass guitars and one acoustic bass that can be plugged in. I have a number of 6 string guitars, everything from Spanish to Western to solid body and acoustic electric, for whatever need. I have a keyboard and a little synth but haven't really used that much. I have most if not all of the PA gear needed, depending on your expectations. I can work any time, day or night but I have never been a morning kind of person..
