Mandolin, Piano, Keyboard, Violin, Drums, Bass Guitar, Lead Guitar, Vocalist.

I am looking for an opportunity to play with a few folks! My ideal scenario would be to get together once every two weeks or so, construct a collection of 20 original songs, and play out once every two months or so (plus or minus). I have no delusions about getting rich or famous -- I just enjoy creating and sharing my creations with other folk.

Just a few parameters to note -- I would prefer to find folks who are in or close to the greater Olney/Brookeville area -- more or less the same age -- and have a good musical background. Ideally, I would like to play with two or three other individuals. My favorite thing to do is provide a backdrop for others to build upon. It would truly be a wonderful thing to play with a good singer (male or female) and a good soloist (guitar, mandolin, violin, and/or woodwind). A fourth person on percussion would be nice, but not a necessity.

My goal is to develop original music. You add dimension to my stuff -- and I add dimension to your stuff. Recording is something I enjoy doing, but the emphasis -- initially anyway -- is to put together an enjoyable set or two and play for folks.

I have posted some of my original works. If you like what you hear and are interested in contacting me -- send me an email at mindsights at mindspring dot com.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
