Hello! I am Nathan Ricks, the Founder, and Owner of Natrix Entertainment LLC. A recent Berklee College of Music Graduate (2017), my major concentration in Music Performance with a Minor in Music Production. Born & raised in the Motown (Detroit, Michigan) my principal instrument is the drum kit. I've worked with several distinguished artists: Earl Klugh, Victor Wooten, Lionel Richie and I was the youngest performing member of the Detroit Civic Jazz Orchestra (under the Maestro Directorship of the Jazz Patriarch – Marcus Belgrave), a seasoned Gospel musician who plays a diversity of musical genres and winner of multiple drum competitions, band awards and during my tenure at Berklee – I’ve also supported new artists in a Music Director role.
In addition to my extensive drumming experience, I am highly proficient at reading, improvising, composing and music production. Please consider me for any Pop, R&B, Gospel, Film, and Studio gig opportunities. I am interested in any production related internships and/or full/part-time positions. I am willing to travel, as well as work within my local home base (Southern California).
