Hey everyone…I’m an experienced singer/writer in my early 20s and I have about 10 years of experience. I’m searching for a talented originals band, either established or brand new in need of a good frontman. I am fairly ambitious, but I have realistic goals: practicing 1-2x a week, writing quality/original material, recording, and playing shows. Music is a passion of mine, but I understand that people have jobs and other obligations.
I’m pretty particular in my desires for a project. Talent, artistry, and a unique sound are crucial, but there are a couple directions I’m willing to go, as I have a lot of musical tastes. I’d be interested in joining a hard rock project along the lines of Taproot/Breaking Benjamin/Chevelle/Alice in Chains/A Perfect Circle. I’m also interested in a ska/reggae/rock project along the lines of Marley/311/Sublime/The Exit/Zox/Bedouin Soundclash. If you are a hip-hop outfit in a style like The Roots/The Fugees/Kanye/Lupe/Hova looking to incorporate a soulful lead singer/writer, I’d also like to hear from you.
