ABOUT

I'm a guitarist and long time Trey wannabe. I grew up around the jam band scene going back to the early days of late 80's Grateful Dead, 90's Phish and H.O.R.D.E. and Furthur and WSP.

I play many of the Phish standards from Junta through Farmhouse, and some of the unrecorded or unreleased (e.g. Gamehendge). I wish I were as proficient as The Phix (Boulder band) or AmarGuitar but I give it my best and have improv back-and-forth, modal jams in Lydian and so on (i.e. Mixolydian).

I've been in about a dozen bands over the years in many states. I have written some originals, recorded some musical sketch ideas and written tracks for student video projects.

As far as an ensemble, I'm reliable, dedicated to the music and learning my part. So yeah... I would really like to play with an ensemble as a 4-piece with keys ideally. We were a trio covering Phish and it was a lot to run the loop station, sing vocals, play rhythm and lead. Not quite all at once but, well, you know.
