I posted a while back and got some good responses, hopefully some of them will see this. I am looking to start a new band in the area, like this week. I have 12 years of playing experience, lots of stage experience, and have lots of pr experience. I am looking for people in the area that know what they are doing with their instruments. I dont want to have to tell you what to play.

I am looking to start a band somewhere on the lines of Sevendust, korn, rage, nonpoint, deftones, old limp bizkit, skindred..... You get the point. I dont want to sound like any of those bands, but they are what i listend to. I want to make music that is heavy, but still has a groove to it. I have a fairly unique playing style, I guess the closest guitarist to my style I can think of is Dimebag. I used to play in a band in Pa that was close to the sounds I am looking for, just want to be slightly heavier. you can go to ./seventhvictim to hear it, at least it gives you a general idea. I am looking for the following.

Drummer - I want someone who is comfortable writing not only rock and metal beats, but hip hop and raggae as well. I dont care how big your kit is, just know how to play it.

Bass - I want a bassist that is comfortable writing his own bass lines, and not just following what I am playing on guitar. Also be comfortable writing songs on your own, not leaving all the songwriting to me.

Vocals - I dont care if you are male or female, just be good. You MUST be able to sing in key, as well as scream in key. I want someone with a wide range, not just a monotone, there is already a godsmack. I would love to find someone who can sound like brandon from incubus when he sings (or amy from evanesence for females) and still be able to scream like chino from the deftones (or morgan from kittie).

I am looking to start something this week if possible. I work nights wed-sun, so my practice times are limited to mondays and tuesdays anytime or any day after 9 pm. 7 on sundays. If this schedule doesnt work for you dont bother replying. I am a tattoo artist so my schedule cant be rearranged, except for shows.
