Yes, I've been practicing my guitar work for over thirty years. I've built my own style. My rhythm patterns are flexible and dramatic. I never miss a beat. My rhythms have a somewhat percussive quality to them, as my first love was drums, but I never had an oppurtunity to pursue that dream. I write melodies and lyrics. I enjoy improvising more then playing rehearsed tunes, though I try to balance the two. Yes, I sing in my own stylized way. I've improved my leads and work single note patterns into my rythms and progressions. My lead patterns tend to rock and bop and funkand be bluesy, as oppossed to screaming and ripping and soaring and biting. I'd like to add some teeth to my leads.

Influences
You name it, I'm influenced by it. I consider myself to be an 'artist' working through the medium of sound, as oppossed to being (stictly speaking) what folks like to label... "a musician". Though I'm not offended by that label, I'm not comfortable or at home with either. Taht said, I understand, in most cases, that an average musician ,unfortunately, is a more 'marketable commodity' then an average artist; so... I try to compromise whereever and whenever possible.

Ovation electric acoustic, pretty with red and the leafy 'things',through a Roland acoustic harmony amp...that handles guitar and mike for when I sings...
