New Wave Tributes is in need of a guitarist who can play some keys ILO guitar on a few songs in one of our three sets.
New Wave Tributes (NWT) is a band/artist specific collective. Currently playing tribute to Gary Numan, as "The Numan League", A Flock of Seagulls as "Aurora Borealis" and The Human League as "Electric Dreams". Additional sets of Pet Shop Boys, ABC, and Berlin are planned for 2023, but ITMT, we are looking to create an opening set with great music from Bow Wow Wow. The main goal for all of the sets, is to emulate these acts as close to the original songs and perform as much like the original bands as possible at the best clubs, music venues, casinos and corporate events around the South West US. Out of town shows are always a possibility. Las Vegas, Palm Springs, San Diego, Catalina, Santa Barbara, and the greater Los Angeles area are always in consideration. We are all working professionals by day and do our best to accommodate schedules for pursuing our passion to perform. At this time we are currently looking for a female vocalist to portray Annabella Lwin, from the Bow Wow Wow. Please email: new wave tributes at g mail dot com. The ideal singer will be of an age that loved and hopefully still loves this music. The ideal singer is a fan of the culture, style, scene, fashion and era. The ideal singer will have experience performing on stage with a band, and is also wiling and able to learn the parts, work through arrangements, communicate well and most importantly will want to dress up, perform and have a ridiculous amount of fun doing it. Weekly rehearsals as needed and up to 3 shows per month are possible.
