EQUIPMENT
I take pride in my two-high-hat, three-snare set. I have toms but do not usually bother playing them because I find them useless. I also have experience with and work to obtain a collection of auxiliary instruments some of which are homemade or augmented. My favorite auxiliary instruments are my perforated hand-crash cymbals.
