ABOUT

Hi, I'm Nick Jack Wright. I've been playing bass guitar (6- and 4-string) since 2006, professionally since 2014. Although I specialize in rock, jazz, and pop, I play whatever I can get my hands on: blues, country, singer-songwriter, hip-hop, classical, experimental. It's important to me to approach every project with a beginner's mind and open ears, which has developed into one of my strengths in the studio and on stage.

I’m looking for paying opportunities, whether touring, playing single shows, or joining projects that play often. Please message me for rates and inquiries.

I also put my degree in New Media Communications from Oregon State University to use with video productions, specializing in promos and short films. I love to do fun, funny work, especially in fast-paced guerilla-style environments. If someone's putting on an event that will get people out and having a good time, I love to help promote it.

I live in Portland, Oregon, though I often work remotely as well. Whatever your working on, I'm interested :)
