My primary focus is traditionally electric rhythm guitar and singing. I cannot read music, but I play by ear and am pretty good at learning songs through listening to them repetitively and through tabs. I have played in two functioning bands in my time. In high school, I was in a rock band and we played several gigs over a four year period. In College, I was in a blues / rock band and we played a number of gigs, established a name locally, and had a reasonably sized following (mostly just friends). I have also dabbled in solo acoustic street performances and open mics.

Influences
Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Radiohead, Nirvana, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bob Dylan, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Switchfoot. As you can see, I am mostly a blues based, classic rock guy, but I am honestly open to experimentation and to different perspectives of music. I don't like to be locked into a genre.
