Nicolas Fresard it’s a singer, songwriter, guitar player, piano player, producer that came from Brazil to study in Los Angeles. He had establish his fan base back in his country with several videos in be and also national TV videos clips. He could be a very soft singer making reinterpretations of Jack Johnson, Jeff Buckley, Ben Harper, but at the same time he has a very strong voice with drive vocals and a lot of grunge like, Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam. Making a mix with all these genres of music, Nicolas still has a passion for the soul and the blues, so mostly of his influences are Jimi Hendrix, Nina Simone, Seal. He plays with a guitar and a resonator/dobro making layers with guitar solos and backing vocals in his loop pedal which creates a great atmosphere.
He just release his first album with his Rock band called Scarlett and he’s preparing the songs for the next solo album. He had study Songwriting, Production and Mixing engineer at Berklee, Guitar, Vocals and Music Business at Musicians Institute, Guitar Bachelor in UNIVALI, Brazil.
He can also play a few classic Brazilian songs, but giving the preference to the acclaimed period in Brazilian history called “Tropicalia”, which are bands like “Os Mutantes”, “Secos e Molhados”, “Tim Maia”, “Gilberto Gil”, etc.
