I'm a Christian mezzo soprano (but can sing up to a high G when warmed up) with a classical background, but prefer Broadway and Jazz that honors God. Quite frankly, I'm sick of the typical contemporary Christian music, which is why I'm here.

I'm of the persuasion that if we play ANY instrument as a Christian, we can use it unto the Lord and worship with it. That goes for bluegrass, techno, rap, ska, and everything else out there.

I'm 25, I cannot devote a lot of time to this because I am a wife and mother FIRST, but I am serious about music, and I hate being shuffled around. I like it when Christians are skillful in their musicianship.

To give you the most recent endeavor, I was accepted into the Boise Master Chorale in Jan 2011, but could not find transportation every week for rehearsals. At least that gives you an idea of what I can do. Otherwise, I love karaoke, I love worship, and I'd really REALLY love to form a quartet of skilled singers to sing Christmas carols and some other arrangements (I do not compose) in malls and stuff for the holidays.

I've been singing since I was 4, and been in bands, private lessons and various singing groups since then. Accepted a vocal scholarship for Long Island University (NY) in 2003, sang for about 5 different worship teams in churches since then, did some solo performances and studio sessions with local artists. I have stage presence and drive. Just not a lot of time.

I'm a quick learner and love to work with others. Singing is a great passion of mine. Karaoke keeps me on my toes when nothing else is going on. :)

**Must note** I have a toddler. If I rehearse at home, he's here with me. If I were to go somewhere, childcare would be necessary unless I was practicing on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday afternoon/evening.

My, myself, and I. I played the Clarinet for about 13 years which helped me develop my ear for music, but my voice is my primary.
