I am a songwriter, composer, arranger, and Classically-trained pianist and keyboardist, with additional experience as a synthesizer and organ player. I am trying to put together a melodic rock/AOR band and/or a melodic/symphonic metal band, and I am currently writing a hair metal-inspired musical comedy as well as a symphonic metal rock opera.
Disclosure: My vocal range is in transition. I used to be a low alto, but I'm now a bass/baritone with access to high upper range, and very tenuous access to tenor/alto range. With training and time, I may have a full 3.5 octaves or greater, but I'm most comfortable in a strong bass/baritone and operatic high alto/soprano.
The recordings you hear were recorded when I was a low alto/tenor, prior to transition.

Watch It Burn (Your Hometown)
Watch It Burn (Your Hometown) Year: 2018 Genre: Rock
One of my miscellaneous catalog of AOR/melodic rock songs of a more personal influence. It's about getting over childhood trauma. This is a demo, missing the guitars and bass intended for the song. I created it for the purposes of demoing the song for the power metal band I'm currently in and hope to have it rearranged for a power metal feel.

Improv #1 - Look Man, I was Just Thinkin'
Improv #1 - Look Man, I was Just Thinkin' Year: 2019 Album: PTSD Genre: Classical
I bought a baby grand piano of my own this year after years of desperately needing one for several reasons. It was high time. It turns out the main reason I needed it right now was for processing trauma through musical improvisation. This series of pieces is not composition. This is pure improvisation, in which I sit at the piano and play without prior ulterior motive. If I end up developing something into a composition, so be it. I follow no one but myself.

Falling Into Madness
Falling Into Madness Year: 2015 Album: Untitled Rock Opera Genre: Metal
This track is from a rock opera in progress. I'm writing most of it solo, but this track is the only one I co-wrote with another artist, a friend from Tennessee (Colton Parr, guitarist). Sean Thompson (vocalist, guitarist, drum programmer) helped record this demo, and I added my keyboards after the fact. Bass parts are missing. It is by no means a finished product, but it's pretty close to my intentions.

I Wake Up Screaming
I Wake Up Screaming Track number: 1 Year: 2018 Album: Untitled Rock Opera Genre: Metal
This is the intro to the rock opera in progress, and aside from introducing the story from the main character's/antagonist's perspective, also introduces two of the main recurring musical motifs.
