SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist.ABOUT
I sing lead vocals, play guitar, and play/program synths for my main project, DIVVISIONS (soundloud [dot] com [slash] divvisions. I only point that out so you can get a sense of my previous sound, though it's not one that I'm married to.)
My band has hit a bit of a standstill due to the pandemic, so I'm starting to look around with a view to starting another band based more locally. I'm operating under the assumption that things will return to normal within the next year or so. As they say, fortune favors the prepared.
If anyone is looking for a guitarist/songwriter who can also provide synths and backing vocals, let's talk. I am capable of composing full songs/instrumentals on my own, but I really enjoy the spark that collaboration brings to any composition, so if you're into some of the same things I've listed below in the Influences section, please do get in touch.
Not into straight-up blues, jazz, classic rock, or metal--although elements of each can be great.
I'm forever caught in that weird area where art and pop intersect. If something sounds too normal, I try to make it sound a little weird; if something sounds too odd, I try to bring a little bit of catchiness to it. I can be tempted to go fully in one direction or the other, though.
Priority given to any inquiries that are from the North Shore area.

Siebenwerk
SiebenwerkEntry 2 in the Breaktime Sessions, a series of short recordings that I'll be making on my lunch break at work. It's intended to be a short-lived run of tracks which I expect will mostly have an unfinished quality to them, but that isn't the point--the goal is to get my head out of the day-to-day grind and indulge in pointless but fun creative exercises.
