I strive to be a well-rounded musician, and am always looking for new people to play with, even if their influences are totally different from mine. If we jam together I hope we can learn something from each other!

I used to have a band (for which I played drum kit) for about two years in high school that saw a good amount of success; we played a number of gigs in the Pontiac area including the Blue Note Cafe and Clutch Cargo's (RIP). The band started as a pop-rock/alternative band and eventually morphed into a more aggressive rock band that bordered on metal with some punk influences.

I decided I wanted to go to college for Music Education, and got myself deep into studying classical music. While this was great, it sadly left me with very few outlets to play my first love, which was the drum kit. The most fun I've ever had playing music was still my band from high school, and I would love to get back to the life of song-writing, gigging, or even just playing covers!
