Nina Harris (born Denene Richelle Harris, September 28th, in Detroit, Michigan), has a passion for singing R&B, Soul, Hip Hop Soul, and Disco. Her very first performance was her senior year at Pershing High School, when she discovered her gift, of how her voice could move people to tears. Since then she has entertained all over Detroit at weddings, anniversaries, and nightclubs. Nina recently performed at the Music Hall for the Detroit Bring It Talent Search where she brought down the house with an award winning performance of Pattie Labelle’s, “If Only You Knew”. She has also performed at the Detroit Fisher Theater for an awards show for Quicken Loans and she received a standing ovation from a crowd of 22,000 when she sang the National Anthem at a November 2006 NBA Basketball Game! She is known for delivering powerful performances of classic songs from legendary singers such as Pattie Labelle and Stephanie Mills and this young lady can also move the crowd with Hip Hop favorites from Mary J. Blige and Erykah Badu to name a few. Stay tuned because Nina is the real deal and you can expect her to bring it both old school and new school… She’s FIRE and this is why she is HOT!!
