A friend (harmonica/ percussion/ vocals) and I have been taking turns hosting newgrass/ folk/ country pick sessions for the last few years. Other players (fiddle, guitar & dobro) join us when schedules mesh. So we have been looking for other like-minded individuals to fill in the gaps. At the moment we aren't looking to do the working band thing, though an occasional open mic or odd gig isn't out of the question either. We are a laid back group who just like to have fun playing music & we definitely leave our egos at the door. We try get together 1 to 2 times a month in the summer & more often in the winter.
