My name is Nikk, I'm 26, and I have been working on music for fun for most of my life. I started singing in middle school and high school and then began playing bass guitar in 2006. I have played in a few projects such as a small metal band and a cover band called Brickfaced for bars in my area. I also have a small amount of experience on keyboards and mostly use it for virtual instruments/MIDI work. My styles tend to be a little all over the place but usually lands somewhere in Electronic style Rap/Hip Hop with a bit of Pop influence. I have a love for a wide array of music and there aren't many genres I actually don't like.
Currently, I write all the instrumentals using a mix of beat pads, looping, midi keyboards, mics, and mixing. But singing has never been my specialization and I am currently looking for any vocalist that is interested in my style of my music. I know some of my stylistic choices are a little out there so if it isn't for you, no hard feelings. I tend to write it for spoken word/rap or rhythmic vocals since I was never a pro singer but I am open to any style of singer if you think you'd be a good fit.
I am looking mostly to record/release tracks. I have a mini (Non-professional) home studio. Willing to work far apart a la Postal Service by sending tracks and having vocalists record and send them back for mixing or with local musicians in my area as well, whatever makes it easiest.
