Hello there, we are No Quarter. We are a technical prog instrumental 3 piece band from Woodland, Ca. Due to some unfortunate circumstances with our prior bass player, we are in dire need! We are seeking an individual who is very technically proficient on bass. We deal with many odd time signatures and transitions in our music, as well as many unique scales and modes. We need someone who can fill in the spaces of the music in a unique way. Preferably with opposing melodies that blend with those of the guitar. No root note only players, please. We need someone with a serious attitude towards creating and playing interesting tunes, a good musical ear, and a good work ethic to practice at the very least once a week in my garage in Woodland.
