Hola, my name is Nobi Calhoun (stage name). I am a vocalist (sop, alto and tenor) as well as a keyboardist. I've been playing for about 11 years singing for about 14. I have a fantastic opportunity to become a solo artist with a touring band. Gigs are only paid if we make money together. I would like for this band to be a primary commitment as we have been asked to play in a couple large venues in the northwest just after our debut performance in a barbershop...so this is a very committed position. We will be managed and profits will be split among the group.
This is also a three fold band. I currently am participating in two others as worship leader. A group called Frontline! which is a music ministry group that you could probably compare with Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond and Tye Tribbett. Compensation is the same as above -- only if we get paid (which is inventive to work really hard!). Frontline! has responsibilities to itself and also to a church in Vancouver called Pathways Community. This is a volunteer position that will be compensated upon request for things such as food and gas -- not regularly paid. This is the "third" band which is really the second with it's primary responsibility to the church.
