Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano.

Drummer with SOME years experience looking to start band. I have a really awesome practice space and only one rule — NO DRAMA! My dream is to have fun, make some great sound and eventually — no pressure — bring that to the an audience, preferably sooner rather than later; but no pressure.

I have played almost every genre and prefer some more than others; actually rock, blues and funk have been more of my mainstay. I was trained in jazz, and play it, enjoy listening to it, but prefer more of a progressive experience. I want to work with like minded people to play, challenge, improvise and have fun. Perfection will not be tolerated. A Positive attitude, passion for the jam is an absolute must. Hijinks and mayhem are absolutely preferred. Respect for everyones contribution is required.

I am looking to build from the ground up: guitar, vocals, bass, keyboards and glockenspiel (bet you’ve never paid to see that for that before?) if thats what it takes! And honestly, even though I have immense respect for those who have acquired the skills to play a glockenspiel, this may not interest those with said skills.

I have played with so many original bands and cover bands that I want to get a group of musicians together who want to play for the passion of playing not an imagined future. I want to start something based on raw passion for making the audience scream for more. They’re not having fun if we’re not having fun.

My inspirations are Buddy Rich, Neil Peart, Carl Palmer, Cozy Powell, John Bonham, Keith Moon, Gene Krupa, Steve Gadd, Mick Fleetwood, Max Roach and many more. Other favorites, who are not drummers, are Ritchie Blackmore, Randy Rhodes, Gary Moore, Lindsey Buckingham, Kieth Emerson, Michael Schenker and the beat goes on! And NO, I am not any of them, nor do I pretend to be, but I sure’s as hell would chew a bat’s head off if it were in the name of music and entertaining a group of people.

Instrument experience:

Pearl, Zildjian, Gibraltar and Shure.
