ABOUT

I am looking for a fun, energetic lead guitarist to join a cover band. The songs that we will cover are specifically selected so that the crowd can recognize them, sing along and even dance while we jam the night away. Our goal is to keep the crowd cheerful and engaged and the venue owners happy. We will cover a wide variety of Classic Rock to Modern Rock bands, from the 70s to Present. But we won't play songs just to have a mix of everything; the set lists will be tailored to the audience of the night and may vary a bit for each venue, depending on the type of crowd and occasion that we will play for. Examples, in no particular order, are: Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Smashing Pumpkins, Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, Nirvana, Allman Brothers Band, The Black Crowes, Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, etc. Also, depending on the crowd, we may surprise them with a Funk song like Parliament's "Flashlight" or maybe James Brown to get them dancing and going, just to spice up the show because we will be that versatile.

In all, the plan is to have a tight band of like-minded musicians who know how to have fun with themselves and with the crowd. And importantly, to do so with skill and professionalism, with no egos to interfere. This is a gigging band, not a garage band. We're currently looking for a lead guitarist who also sings. I sing as well and will be the secondary and backup singer.
