I'm retired. I used to play occasionally in local beer joints back in my youth. That was the guitar days, back in the 70s and 80s. Nowadays, I tend to prefer to play mandolin, but I would be interested in contributing in just about any role. I can play more than one instrument, including guitar, bass, even banjo or fiddle if you have a little patience. And I used to belt out a tune or 3 back in those barroom days

Influences
many and somewhat eclectic. My roots go back to the old country stuff from the 50s and 60s. I was like everyone, into all things rock and roll, and the blues was the sound that really drove me to learn how to play in the beginning.
So it can go from Hank Sr, Lefty, right up thru Merle, Waylon, and then Johnny Winter, Allman Brothers, just keep checking them off right up to about 1990 or so. I missed a lot of the music in the 1990s, but my current listening is a large dose of bluegrass.
