Northern Son is a rock n' roll band from the San Francisco Bay Area. Started in early 2009, Northern Son set out to write, record and perform songs filled with simplicity and heart. Drawing on their influences, (Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, The Wallflowers, Face To Face) NS recorded their debut full length "Wider Skies" and in 2010 the "Spin EP". After shooting three music videos (Love Will Find Away, Spin, RIde), playing countless shows all over California, Oregon and Washington, and receiving tons of support from San Francisco based radio station LIVE 105 ( Featured on Soundcheck with Aaron Axelsen, performing at BFD festival 2010) the members of Northern Son took some time to explore different avenues. Through this transitional period of line-up changes, uncertanties, personal successes, travels, new friendships, engagements, marriages, births and deaths, Northern Son grew into a new found maturity. Now ready to share their heart and passion again, NS is beginning to write new material for a future release and book shows all over the Bay Area and beyond. Once lost, now found. Here comes the Son, again.
