Influences
For bass, I'm probably most similar to Kim Deal of Pixies fame; I tend to prefer very straight bass lines consisting of the root note plus some variation thrown in for good measure (though, really, I can fit in with doing just about anything on the bass, the only exception being funk; I've never learned how to slap a bass. I'll leave that to Flea and Victor Wooten).
On drums, there's a lot of alternative rock in me, since that's what I grew up listening to. You'll probably hear some Taylor Hawkins, Sean Kinney, and Jimmy Chamberlin in my play. Don't think that I'm completely stuck in the 90's, mind you, but it's definitely the strongest era of music that helped to shape me as a musician.
