now ghosts music has its roots firmly placed in Americana and Rock, but presented with a tilted thread of haunting acoustic and electronic weaving throughout. There is a mix of energetic in-your-face country rock, dark and mis-leading ballads, Texas riffed Thelma and Louise stories, electronic melancholy pop. A Venn diagram would intersect Lou Reed / Roky Erikson / ZZ Top / Joe Walsh / Wild Feathers / Shovels & Rope /Son Volt / James McMurtry / Grant Lee Buffalo / with a couple of synths too.
