My name is Jake, I started the band OddHeart with my friend Steven, a long while back and we've recently been picking up speed lately as a full band minus a vocalist. We're currently finishing up recording an instrumental EP, but we know that our music has perfect opportunities for the right vocalist to fit in. We are searching for a vocalist whose primary function is lyrical content and all aspects of singing. Someone who can understand the scope, themes and direction our music is headed and someone who can utilize their voice to elevate our music to even higher heights! You should be able to write & perform vocal melodies and harmonies, but also be open to ideas and suggestions from the rest of the band in the realm of both melodies, harmonies and lyrics. This band is comprised of all songwriters, not just players. You absolutely must bring a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit and hopefully you share some of our musical influences, as they are guiding us on our own path. Please be cool and responsible. We enjoy ourselves, and we have lots of fun, but we don't go overboard on partying; we're here to make awesome music first and foremost. OddHeart rehearses on average at least once a week (usually weekends or evenings) - other times twice a week. As a band we have yet to perform, but as individuals, we have performed in various bands in Southern California, and New York over the last 17 years.
