grew up listening to a lot of rnb/soul (motown, anita baker, ray charles), but got my eclectic taste from my dad (everything from billie holiday, Michael franks, norah jones to Clapton, funkadelics, counting crows & carole king). my voice has a soul feel to it, but I like to make alternative/rock & blues
