Cleveland is home to the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Since its opening in 1995, the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has offered exhibits, eduactional programs and performance events. Some featured artists in the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame and Museum include Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Bob Dylan, and U2.
Cleveland is the home of heavy metal group Mushroomhead, rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. Eric Carmen and his band, The Raspberries. R&B singer Gerald Levert also was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, and it was the hometown of R&B groups the Dazz Band and The Rude Boys, as well as R&B singer Avant. It was also home to protopunk bands Pere Ubu, Rocket From the Tombs, and Electric Eels.
Some live music venues to visit includes the Grog Shop, which is a bar and concert venue that books mainstream orginial and cover bands like Escape the Fate, the Balkan Beat Box, and Do Make Say Think. Fat Fish Blue is another live music venue that caters to the blues crowd and is very remisicent on Bourbon Street. Fat Fish Blue enscribed motto even says “let the good times roll.” For the rock-n-roll lovers, Blind Pig Speakeasy offers loud, jamming rock bands. Blind Pig Speakeasy is also one of the closest bars to Brown’s stadium.
