Drums.ABOUT
I have been playing in a band for 3 years now. Doing mostly gigs in the Cleveland area. Mostly those waste of time sell your own tickets gigs where you get paid nothing or close to it. We are actually in Medina, but strongsville was the closest place. The band is to be called Oh Yeah!, with our slogan being, "Playing the Songs you Forgot you Loved" you know those 90's alternative songs that you listen to and go "Oh Yeah, I remember that song!" Nirvana, Green Day, Chili Peppers, Third Eye Blind, and a whole host of one hit wonders like Harvey Danger, and The Toadies. The Goal of this band is to GET PAID! I find that if you don't have a specific kind of music that bar owners think that their patrons will like they won't EVER pay. I'm only going after bars that already have a crowd. I am not interested in helping dive bars bring in a crowd. I've been getting screwed for a long time and I'm ready to start doing things right. I wanna try to pepper the set with originals which I have many of, but we can talk about that later. I need a drummer with the balls to take control of the rythm and really rock! Inborn rythm is a must. I will probably have you do a little hand drum work or an abbreviated drum set. I believe that having the ability to really make more with less is important for a drummer. With all that said, I hope to be hearing from my future drummer soon! Good Luck!
