40-something guy looking to make some music, have some fun, play regularly and gig occasionally.
I write melodic, off-kilter pop songs with (hopefully) unusual and interesting arrangements. I do some home recording. I have a wide range of musical interests/influences ranging from punk to indie to experimental and I’m open to many different types of music.
I have previously played in working/gigging/touring bands and I'm not really looking to "make it" or be a professional full-time musician. But I would like to put music out into the world and play for people regularly. I mostly want to make something original and interesting. Not looking to rehash commercial radio or play classic rock.
