We are Onward Chariots, an indie rock band from Brooklyn. Since we put our first songs up on (!) in 2009, our songs have been praised on blogs from Japan to Italy and played on radio from the U.S. to Brazil. We have played the Indietracks Festival, the Athens Popfest, and Popfest! New England, we've toured Europe twice, and we've released singles on Elefant, Dufflecoat, and February Records.
We're proud to announce that our debut album will be released on Skipping Stones Records on January 29, 2013. A 16-track conceptual work, it tells a story and traverses styles from retro-rock to orchestral pop. Professional promotion is ongoing here and in the UK. We have shows booked and are about to film a video... but we lost our drummer. We need you!
We are all professional musician types, and we only practice and play shows when we need to. We won't waste your time.
