The Original Sleepers is a band that was formed in the late 80's in Chicago, IL as The Sleepers. They released a demo in 1991 called Sunday School Session. In 1994 they released The Color Red and tracked other songs for a future release. Their rhythm guitarist left town to go to Grad School in 1994.
In 2011, The Sleepers decided to go into the studio to rehearse and work on new material for a reunion show. The two founding members, and major songwriters for the band, decided to starting writing again and start playing again in clubs.
They are currently looking for a rhythm guitarist and possibly a singer who are interested in the same type of music to play some covers and originals.
