Are you a musician who has been playing for a long time? Are you having trouble finding opportunities to perform? Are you ready to try something a little bit different? The Marines are looking for musicians who are a little bit different than the average musician. To be qualified you would need to be between the ages of 17 and 29. You would need to perform a song with a level 4 solo, you would need to be able to sight read, and have all of your major and minor scales memorized for the instrument you audition need for. You will be asked a series of background and medical related screening questions that may disqualify you. Finally, you must be physically fit in order to become a Marine Musician. The benefit for you is that every note you play will represent the sound of freedom and you will be paid as a full-time musician.
