I'm a Bass player, been playing about 3 years now by ear,(However I'm learning script music).I also play the Cajon, Congos, and Keys (mainly for effects).

Influences
Although I mainly listen to Alt Rock. I'm influenced by all types of music, from Classical to Funk, Rock to R&B, Jazz to Hip-Hop, Reggae to Blues, even Gospel.
My main artist influences are like: U2, RHCP, The Black Keys, Jack White, The Foo Fighters, Hendricks, Bush, Train Radiohead, Weezer, Hank Williams Jr., Wierd Al Yankovick(YES I said Hank Williams Jr. and Wierd Al, thier funny, alright?). As well as, Incubus, Kings of Leon, Nirvana, Linkin Park, No Doubt, Pearl Jam, The Killers, Evanescence, Young the Giant,Paramore, Silver Sun Pickups, etc. Whew! I know that a lot, but what can I say, I like who I like.
As fas a playing influences, eventually, I would like to play like a mix of Stanley Clark, John Myoung, Victor Wooten, Louis Johnson, Jacko Pastorius, and Flea, when I grow up.

EQUIPMENT
I currently have a 5-string LTD Bass, a Fender Rumble 150 watt amp, with a Boss ODB-3, overdrive distortion pedal, but I'm willing to upgrade if things get real.
