This band simply provides a little bit of everything for everyone.
It's about giving clients that "feel good" music. That "I've had a long week and need to let loose" kind of music. That "OMG I HAVEN'T HEARD THIS SONG IN FOREVER! THAT'S MY JAM" kind of music. That "they made this night memorable" kind of music!
This band is about doing what musicians are supposed to be doing in the first place: having fun doing what you love to do. It's that simple.
Members Of Band
I made the decision to start completely over with this band for three reasons.
1) I want my band members to reflect the band name! Off The Vibe STL is professional, edgy, energetic, with lots of stage presence, and of course stylish.
2) I don't have the tolerance for lazy musicians. Learn the material. Be creative.
And no, we will not waste time focusing on standards because you're only comfortable with doing standards.
This WILL NOT be THAT kind of band.
3) The goal of this band is to become booked with the best booking agents in this area. I have another band currently with them, and I'm in other bands under them as well. Great venues, great pay! We do NOT play gigs that pay $90 per man. If you do, do better. It's about knowing your worth.
Oh, and the owners are fully aware of this project. We are going to present the band to them by doing a 90 mins set.
