Our Winter Year is currently looking for active members in the Tulsa area. The project going forward will be a mix of alternative rock with elements of metal occasionally thrown into the mix.
Open positions include main vocalist, lead guitar, bass and drums. As the group evolves, I'd love to fill out the sound with a keyboardist/atmospheric wizard. Most importantly, at this juncture, I am looking for a vocalist with a strong penchant for thematic lyricism.
I fully compose, although I’m not closed off to full band collaboration, all of the music. I do not write lyrics, it’s just not my strong suit. I do however, create thematic angles that can be fully discussed during the collaboration period. I have a pretty clear artistic direction on where I want to take things. I am really hoping to find like-minded musicians that pick up on exactly where that direction is going.
