I have never actually sang with a band before, but I have good singing voice and have been also taking professional singing lessons on the internet to further increase my vocal power, range, and endurance. I am semi-retired at this time and looking to sing for a local band. I now sing karaoke at local clubs 3-4 nights weekly, but want to sing all night. I have also been studying blues and rock guitar by numerous DVD's and online instruction, but don't have the skills yet to play in a band setting, but would love to be around musicians that could help me get better.

Influences
I can sing everything from R&B, contemporary, lounge, blues, rock, and even heavy metal, so I have no restrictions as to what genre the band focuses on.
EQUIPMENT
I own a Hagstrom Viking Deluxe semi-hollowbody guitar, Crafter Grand Auditorium Acoustic/Electric Guitar, Fender Squire HBSS Solidbody guitar, Line 6 Spider Jam 75 watt amp and Spider II 15 watt amp, Line 6 Mark II Floorboard, inexpensive Casio keyboard, microphone and stand.
